The HammerTown Pagan Pub Moot is held at Hamilton"s Corktown Pub and Fare The Corktown can trace its roots back more than 75 years. Located at the corner of Young and Ferguson streets, the building was at one time Dan Sullivan's store, and then transitioned to the Gurry's Hotel at a later date. News clippings refer it as Corktown"s town hall - a place where the Irish community exchanged news of the day and where debates were many, especially at election time. The building still stands today, newly refurbished but still retaining its ole" charm and ambience. Newly renovated in classic dark wood, this old-world pub boasts a prime location and a reputation as the most popular live music venue in the city. Nightly specials include Wednesday"s jazz jam night, Thursday"s indie night and Friday"s East Coast Kitchen Party, which features live music. Platter menus of small bites are available for patrons who have come out for a beer and some great music. The Corktown Pub and Fare"s Food is really good pub grub. Local food sources are used as much as possible like the meat is from Reardons Deli and bread from Bonanza Bakery. The pub is available for private parties and can accommodate groups of up to 250 people. Corktown is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 AM to midnight and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 to 2 AM.
